Abstract

Faced with the scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic starting in 2020, whose repercussions can still be felt, there is an increasingly latent need to offer quality financial education to those young people who are in secondary contact with your financial life. The objective of this study was to understand the importance of offering Financial Education to young people in the context of Covid-19. This is a bibliographical research carried out through the search for scientific articles in the Google Scholar and Scielo databases, of studies published in the years 2020 to 2021. The results obtained indicate that the level of indebtedness of Brazilians increased from the period in which the economy was negatively impacted as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and, given this scenario, financial education proves to be essential, especially for young people, who have little experience with the use of financial resources.
