This paper aims to make a critical analysis of the Husserlian work: “Lessons for a phenomenology of the internal consciousness of time” originally published in 1928. In this work, Husserl seeks to make a phenomenological analysis of the consciousness of time. According to him, in order to fully understand the manifestations of time within us, it is necessary to know the very deep depth of his interiority. The central problem of our philosophical investigation is this: what is there within time and how can we get to know its interiority in depth? In short, the answer would be: knowing your inner consciousness. Well, for Husserl, time is consciousness. Throughout the text, we will phenomenologically analyze the multiple time-passing zones made up of temporal halos that illuminate the invisible flow of duration. Such analysis is particularly focused on virtual reality, which consists of a retentional tail of the past fed by primary and / or secondary retentions. Therefore, the methodology of this research is of a critical-reflexive nature. We conclude that Husserlian time is, in fact, a great ghost embedded in the temporal flow of psychic experiences.
