About the Journal
From 2021, the journal is under the management of a commercial publisher (Wissen Publishing Co.), in order to professionalize the journal`'s management and improve editorial quality.
The journal seeks to follow some innovative guidelines (according to the San Francisco Declaration - DORA), without imposing limits (such as number of pages, words, figures) and accepting multiple styles for formatting bibliographic references - (articles in APA7th edition and Brazilian ABNT format are accepted) in order to contemplate articles by Brazilian and international researchers. We publish theoretical, empirical research articles (case studies), experience reports, interviews, expanded abstracts and book reviews.
BRJPD was born not only to disseminate scientific research, but also to bring innovation to the scientific dissemination process, benefiting the authors and bringing greater agility so essential to the present day. The journal's goal is that the maximum time between article submission, evaluation and final decision is 40 days.
In the academic field, the journal aims to serve as a repository of robust research and influence academic production, in order to bring researchers, research topics and methodologies used closer, strengthening Brazilian scientific research and disseminating it internationally.
In the social sphere, the magazine aims to serve as a means of empowering citizens so that they can influence and intervene in the governmental decision-making process in its various spheres, producing new proposals for the elaboration of public policies, effecting social control and supporting the advocacy of ideas. .
